A simple comparison that got me thinking.
I call Tencent the tech version of Berkshire. If you look at their investment portfolio it’s pretty impressive too and no one talks about that or takes that into account.
the only problem with Tencent stock today is the 100 share lot in Hong Kong with each share costing over HK$430. US$5,500 just to start playing...
Hopefully that changes with with the new HK lot rules that will be implemented.

The Chinese discount will exist until it doesn’t. When $BABA surges above $320 that might mark the end of the discount.
