Building Something That Lasts
I wanted to give you guys a quick heads up and a genuine thank you…
Coughlin Capital is getting close to two big milestones—almost 2,000 total subscribers and just shy of 100 paid—and honestly, I didn’t expect it to grow this fast.
What started earlier this year as a small experiment to put my research and thoughts out there has turned into something much bigger. The support from everyone reading, commenting, sharing, and subscribing has been incredible, and I’m genuinely grateful for it.
As the audience has grown, so has the time I spend on the research, writing, and portfolio work behind each post. To keep things sustainable and continue putting real effort into what I share here, I’ll be raising the price of a paid subscription once we hit 100 paid subs.
The monthly plan will move from $24 to $40 and the annual plan from $240 to $415. If you join before that milestone, you’ll be locked in at the current rate for life. Your price never changes as long as you stay subscribed.
What paid subscribers get
Full access to everything I publish. That means regular portfolio updates, deep dives on companies I own, names on my watchlist, and research on businesses I find interesting. You’ll also get access to the private chat where I post all of my buys and sells in real time and talk through what I’m seeing in the market day to day.
I’m not a trader. I’m a long-term value and quality investor. I share the work behind the positions, the thinking, and the accountability that comes with it.
The goal isn’t to post more for the sake of it. It’s to make every piece worth reading. If you’ve been enjoying the free posts and/or wanted to help support my work, now is a good time to lock in before the increase. Once we cross 100 paid subscribers, the new rate takes effect, and existing subs keep their current price.
Thanks again to everyone who’s been here from the start and to everyone who’s joined recently. The growth has been incredible, and I’m grateful for all the support. There’s a lot more coming.

Congrats Brian. I am hoping to do the same…I am retired and have 38 plus years of investing experience.
I started out Substack, The Tortoise and the Hare LLC to educate investors on using thematic ETF’s to outsize their own returns, create passive investment income while protecting for steep market downturns.
